Technical Documents for Ceiling and Building Boards

Request supporting documents for the exact product, specification and project requirement you are considering. A report must identify the tested product, manufacturer, applicable standard and scope. Its results should not be applied to a different product or a complete building assembly without supporting evidence.

Historical Test Report References

The following scans are historical records, not evidence of current certification or approval of every product supplied by Mainland. They show the organisation and sample named in the original document. Manufacturer relationships, original report pages and applicability to current supply must be verified before a project submission.

How to Review a Product Document

  1. Match the manufacturer, product name, dimensions and model to the quoted material.
  2. Check the issuing organisation, report number, test method, date and any validity conditions.
  3. Review the complete report, including installation or mounting conditions and the limits of the result.
  4. Confirm destination-market and project acceptance with the relevant designer or reviewing authority.

What Should Be Included in a Document Request?

Send the board or grid type, dimensions, application, destination country and the standard or performance target required by the project. The team will review which supporting files are available and whether they cover the requested specification.

Surface-burning classification, sound absorption, sound attenuation and assembly fire resistance are different properties. Do not infer an unreported rating from an unrelated document or from a product photograph.
